Our Story

It Started With
a Problem.

Before Cryptoworth was a company, it was a solution to a real problem.

As digital assets grew, so did the challenge of turning blockchain activity into financial data businesses could actually use. We've been building for that challenge ever since.

2017

The Origin

Digital asset data was fragmented across wallets, exchanges and blockchains, with no reliable way to reconcile it or calculate profit and loss. Jay Geeth, then a computer science student, built the tool he couldn't find and released it online as a free SaaS application, sharing it in a Reddit post before heading to class. By the next day, more than 100 users had signed up and were requesting additional integrations. The need was clear from day one.

The Founding

To meet growing demand, Jay partnered with Richard Pasquin to bring the solution to businesses. Jay brought an enterprise software background that included delivering systems for the U.S. Department of Defense and Fortune 500 companies. Richard, a former trader, brought extensive experience building and operating businesses across multiple sectors. Together they founded Cryptoworth™ to build the financial infrastructure institutions need to operate in the digital asset economy.

2019

2022

Market Validation

Cryptoworth moved from fully bootstrapped to an oversubscribed funding round, with the first two cheques coming from our own customers. During the token economy cycle, leading organizations including Aave, Solana, Celo and Axie relied on Cryptoworth to run their digital asset accounting.

2023

Institutional Backing

Cryptoworth closed another oversubscribed round, led by larger funds and including participation from banks.

2025

Built for the Enterprise

Cryptoworth delivered 120% growth and expanded its team across the United States and Canada. The year was dedicated to hardening the platform and meeting enterprise-grade compliance standards. It culminated in a deliberate decision to focus exclusively on the enterprise and institutional market.

Digital Assets.

Today, Cryptoworth serves enterprises, institutions and public companies with Big Four audit-ready compliance. Our team of 40, weighted heavily toward data engineering, operates across four countries with offices in three, and we take an active role in shaping digital asset policy.

Accounting is where we began, but it is not where we end. We are building the infrastructure layer that enables digital assets for the world's institutions.
